Dr. Jeff Cook has been at various times a pastor, missionary and university professor for the past 40 years. He met his wife Inge when he was a paratrooper stationed in Germany in 1973. They were married in 1974. Both came to faith in Jesus in Germany shortly after their marriage, and they have been a team serving Christ ever since. After discharge, college and seminary, they returned to Germany as church planters for ten years where they planted and pastored two American military churches and pastored a German church for three years. They then returned to the U.S. for Jeff to teach at an inner-city Bible college for a number of years and serve as a mentor on the pastoral staff of an African-American church. Jeff then taught urban ministry and global mission for 15 years at Cedarville University, followed by 8 years of pastoral ministry in Denver at a multi-ethnic church (worshiping in three languages; English, Spanish, Swahili). He has a deep commitment to minister cross-culturally and serve those on the margins of society. Jeff is a writer, amateur golfer, former Ironman triathlete (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile marathon), endurance biker (over 100 miles) and marathoner, whose only goal today at age 67 is to avoid the winner’s podium, medical tent, and finish.
